The Siren bar is one of many recognised "pick up joints" in Pattaya, along with numerous other entertainment establishments it comes alive at night. Flashing neon signs promise a night of excitement and fun. Outside the Siren bar, male and female prostitutes loiter, generally catering for heterosexuals, whilst the rear of the bar is inhabited by gay clients. Separating these two areas of this large seedy bar is a boxing ring, where children and youths, including Samorn, fight ferociously for the crowd.
